9-24-2011 // Production Update

Thank you everyone for your continued interest in the show! I know the updates are really slow. My schedule is not exactly great. Down the line, I hope to recruit other animators, but for now, it's just me working on this in what free time I have.

The next video release will be a 1 minute promo for Tokyo Fury!

Yes, I've been away for awhile. Other than being busy with post-graduation life, I've been working on launching another series. I can't say much now, but I can tell you the series will be called "Tokyo Ikimashou!" and that it's an "anime sitcom".

8-1-2011 // TEASER TRAILER, NEXT EPISODE INFO

Check out an awesome teaser trailer created over at Project D Fan Page! Using clips from the first episode, it hints at the storylines of both episode one and two. The music is from Wangan Midnight.

Additionally, I've made a few website changes here and there. Most notably, I removed e-mail registrations as I rarely sent emails anyways. Plus, YouTube subscriptions are a much easier way to notify everyone of new releases.

As for the next episode, I'm aiming to start production this month. Currently, I'm working on launching another animated series (not related to street racing) so look forward to that!

6-14-2011 // ANIMATION COMPLETE, RELEASE PENDING

All the animation for Episode 1 is complete! I still need to fine-tune some parts, finalize the music tracks, and finish some sections of the website before I can release the episode; but we're almost there! In the meanwhile, check out some pics I added to the Pics Section. Total duration time of the episode is 20 minutes.

When my schedule is clear, it takes around 2 months to animate and edit a single episode. This is for animation and editing alone; it DOES NOT include the time it takes to create the 3D character, car, and set models nor the time I set aside for music composition.

2 months is pretty damn long but hey, I'm only one animator! lol.

I know I said that the next video I post will be the first episode. However, this video is from KanaraKante's channel so technically, it doesn't count as my next video. =P

As for the first episode, it's taking longer than expected, but it's getting closer and closer. Thank you everyone for your continued patience. I promise you it will be worth the wait!
