The movie takes place in San Francisco, CA (and not just in the northeast
tourist area like other San Francisco movies).
Golden
Gate Bridge
SF's famous bridge, it's also a great place
to test your car's engine or take on an opponent in a high-speed
battle. The bridge is rarely empty, even past midnight, so
traffic becomes an obstacle to racers.
Coit
Tower
If you ever wanted to feel like you're on
top of the world, climb this tower. Through one side you can
see the downtown skyscrapers. Through the other side, you
can see... errr... water.
Union
Square
Possibly the heart of downtown, depending
on whom you ask. A place where you can take a break from shopping
or from the crowded sidewalks.
Mission
Nowhere else in the city will you find a
greater collection of ethnic restaurants, thrift stores, murals,
and palm trees. It's traffic hell during the day but a racer's
heaven during the night.
J-Town
Info coming soon.
Sunset
The neighborhood isn't just known for its
bad weather. It's home to 19th Ave, Sunset Blvd, and the Great
Highway. All three are terrific straightaways. The Great Highway
is probably the fastest in the city.
City
College
A great junior college to attend if you want
to save money or can't\won't go to State. It also has a ridiculously
large parking lot. Aya and Yui currently attend the school
on student visas.
Mission
Billiards
It seems like all racers also shoot pool.
Mission Billiards is somewhat of a hidden treasure. You wouldn't
notice the place driving by but inside is a gorgeous pool
hall with lots of tables.
24
Mart
Late at night, there are very few stores
open; the 24 Mart is one of those few stores. Racers go here
to run into other racers or to refresh themselves before or
after a big race.
BETTER
Groceries
It's the first stable job Terry and Mike
had after school. A relatively small grocery store, it generally
isn't too busy. But the questions is, are the groceries really
better at Better Groceries?
NOTE:
When driving in real life, follow all traffic laws and use safe driving
practices.
Street racing on public roads can cost you your life and\or that of
an innocent bystander.
